Ever thought about having a holiday alongside some training ... a TRAINCATION if you like? Training when you are on holiday can be so much fun … and it is great at tiring them out!
Our popular holiday training programmes are ideal if you want to do some intensive training while you are on holiday.
In the past I have worked with holidaymakers on lots of issues including recall, a puppy training, and reactivity. We usually do a first 90 minute session followed by three, four, five or more x 60 minute sessions, giving you four, five, six or more training sessions over your holiday. These should be booked in advance to ensure I can fit you in and you will need to be able to attend training at our training centre in St Just, although we may choose to go out and about for some of the sessions. my recommendation would be to book in a DISCOVERY CALL before booking your session.
Our little cover star for Traincations is Ted. He was on holiday with his lovely mum in Cornwall for the week, and we worked on some training to help this gorgeous 14 week-old be the best little puppy he can be.
- We started by chatting about what essential behaviours Ted needs to learn, going in to some detail about the what, why, where, how, etc.
- Then we worked on some general principles and foundation behaviours that provide the platform to build on later.
- Then we worked on the specifics, in this case including lead walking, jumping up and understanding that nothing is happening and that he is not the centre of the universe ALL the time.
- Alongside that we had time to chat through some problem solving around barking when he is worried and some other issues. All normal puppy stuff, but good to get on top of these things now.

Clients are encouraged to take notes during the sessions, but I will also write a brief email of any training points that we have covered as a reminder. Either clients or I can film short sections of the training. Often we might film a summary of what we have worked on. Note that any filming must not be broadcast or shared without written consent. I also have access to lots of videos and resources that can be sent through to you via email after sessions as applicable.
