Training in your own home can be super useful, and gaining the insight of a knowledgeable and experienced professional is invaluable for making sure you get things right. With many years in training, but also behaviour, I tackle the most challenging training situations with practical, sustainable and common-sense solutions.

Mistakes with training can be expensive, whether it be your puppy chewing up the carpet, your dog pulling you over in the street, or your enthusiastic teenager knocking someone flying. This training is suitable for early puppy visits to set you on the right track, adolescents who need a top-up with their training, or adult or rescue dogs where you need a fresh pair of eyes on the situation.

Very often clients use these sessions for helping them through training challenges where they either don't know where to start, or they have got stuck. Each situation is different, these are longer sessions as in a home visit we will need to  go through any background and foundations, discuss your needs, then work on the training, and write your plan. We can then follow up with support sessions depending on individual need.

If you are not sure what option is right for you my recommendation would be to book in a DISCOVERY CALL before booking your session.

Initial appointment x 1 session of up to 2 hours - £150
Initial appointment x 1 session of up to 3 hours / half day - £200

Support Sessions
After your initial appointment, I offer a flexible structure so that we can put together the right plan for you and your dog. You can buy various packages, or I can set up something bespoke for you. Find out more by clicking here.

What would you like to work on?
Clients book for a variety of general training needs including:
  • Settling into the home - this could be a new puppy or a rescue, house training, confidence training, garden behaviours and more.
  • Focus - you might feel like your dog has lost focus, particularly as a teenager you may need a top up on your training.
  • Manners - so many people have issues with people coming in to their homes and know what to do to set up for success is important.
  • Multi-dog / multi-animal households - training to make sure everyone in the home is settled and happy.
  • Recall - coming back when called is one of the essential behaviours to get right for every dog..
  • Lead Walking - no-one wants their dog pulling them down the road, so a home visit can be ideal to work on things in your own environment.
Clients are encouraged to take notes during the sessions, but we will also write out a training plan during the session for you and I will follow up with an email. Either clients or I can film short sections of the training. Often we might film a summary of what we have worked on. Note that any filming must not be broadcast or shared without written consent. I also have access to lots of videos and resources that can be sent through to you via email after sessions as applicable.

Why choose me?
An experienced trainer and behaviour counsellor can be invaluable in getting your unruly puppy back on track, your adolescent or adult dog to focus, or your rescue to relax. It is good to get help from someone qualified in behaviour with a vast amount of experience - I have worked with thousands of dogs over the years. It's not about quick fixes, but by utilising my extensive experience and getting it right we can get quick and effective results.  I offer practical and non-judgmental advice. I know how to put in emergency procedures, preventative measures, solve problems, and prevent problems from escalating. Most importantly, all training is kind to both you and your dog.
