Tracking is great fun and gives our dogs so much fantastic, natural, motivational exercise using one of their most powerful tools - their nose.

Introduction to Tracking is a 90 minute sessions to take you through some initial exercises. Training sessions can take place at our location in St Just or at Chacewater, or possibly a home location.

Tracking, simply put, is about following a ground scent from A to B. We start by laying a track and teaching you to handle your dogs to follow a scent (bear in mind they can do this already), gradually adding in difficulty and working on your handling techniques. You will also gain an understanding of how to harness the power of their noses and how to reward. No experience necessary, all sorts of dogs can do this, and dogs that find it difficult to work around others are welcome. Note all dogs must be wearing a well-fitting harness. Dogs will be on lead at all times.

The training is held outdoors so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Full details of what to bring with you will be supplied in your confirmation email once you have booked.

Please call first to book your session - Carolyn on 07815 167247
