Tracking is great fun and gives our dogs so much fantastic, natural, motivational exercise using one of their most powerful tools - their nose.

Tracking, simply put, is about following a ground scent from A to B. Rooted in people tracking, the scent is caused by a footprint that has made physical disturbance on the ground. When you first start, you know where the track is, but as you progress you don't necessarily know where it goes if someone else has set it for you. That point of beginning to trust your dog's nose and allowing them to take control of where you both go is a powerful experience.

Our two hour Tracking Development Sessions are for all those who have attended the Introduction to Tracking to develop their skills, adding in difficultly and variety. Small groups of 3 or 4 dogs.

Please note, we can carry on in most weathers, but at odd times dates may change due to adverse weather conditions.
The class is held outdoors so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Full details of what to bring with you will be supplied in your confirmation email once you have booked.
