Introduction to Flyball workshops, ideal as a first step for beginners in this fun sport.

2 hour workshops, choose date and location above.

Flyball is a great sport for all dogs that are physically active, love a ball, and enjoy fun time with their owner. The task is to run down a line of jumps, take a ball, and run back down the line of jumps to their owner. Speed, accuracy, safety and focus are key. The workshop breaks down the process of training jumps, ball collection, retrieval and turns and is ideal for beginners who have not done any flyball before. Dogs need to be sociable with other dogs - 1 to 1 options for dogs that might struggle with other dogs are available.

Options for classes will be available soon with the introductory workshop as a first step for any new beginners.

Dogs need to be happy wearing a harness for this workshop.
Dogs need to be at least 12 months old to attend.
The class is held outdoors so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Full details of what to bring with you will be supplied in your confirmation email once you have booked.

I tried the beginners Flyball today with my Rough Collie Roulette and she loved it and so did I it was the first time we have done something different and she done so well, so I would definitely love to do more with her. Thank you Amanda. X (Review via Facebook)

We have been looking forward to this workshop and it lived up to our expectations. The session started with ball retrieving followed by introducing the dogs to the equipment. After a short break the action moved to the actual Flyball course where the dogs were trained to retrieve a ball having negotiated the jumps and return it back over the jumps to their owner. Considering this was the first time the dogs on our workshop had experienced Flyball they all retrieved the ball and returned it every time which in my opinion is absolutely brilliant and is all credit to the trainers Carolyn and Amanda. We cannot wait for the next sessions to begin.
