Competition Fun for handlers who are able to run their dogs around a course and know all the equipment.
These end of term workshops are ideal for dogs that are familiar with all of the equipment and handlers who can run a course. You don't have to be competing, or even want to compete, the aim is to enjoy walking and running full courses with your dog in competition style conditions.Workshops are aimed at improving your handling and having fun with your dog. Walk your course with tips on how to plan your own run, practise handling, then timed runs with debrief, re-run and see if you can beat your time! Lots of fun for handlers and dogs, prizes given for best runs.
The workshops run for two hours from 10am. Refreshments will be provided.
Cost is £15 per dog. Pllease book by selecting the workshop(s) and BOOK NOW - for regular attendees of classes please book directly with your trainer.
Format is as follows:
- Walk course.
- Analyse how the course is laid out from the handlers point of view and then from the dogs point of view, discuss different handling techniques around the course.
- Practice of key handling points.
- Run a full course - Get multiple runs of a full length agility course including debriefs.
The workshop is held outdoors so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Full details of what to bring with you will be supplied in your confirmation email once you have booked.
