Agility is great fun, and once you have mastered the pieces of equipment, joining them all up in a course provides new challenges. Then we work on handling techniques to get the fastest and most accurate rounds - there is always something new to learn which is why it is so much fun.
From September weekly classes on Saturdays (with a short break in December / January).
See the summary of classes below. If you and your dog are experienced at agility already, you can probably join straight in to one of our classes - please call before booking so that we make sure you are in the right class and to check that there is space - Carolyn 07815 167247.

Summary of classes
Classes in St Just generally divide in to 3 -
Beginner - We gradually introduce your dog to all the equipment, helping you to train your dog to achieve their best along with confidence work, handling and focus exercises. Dogs need to be 1 year old to join. Once your dog knows all the pieces of equipment well, and can run a short jumping course, it is time to move on up.
Improvers - Building on the skills learnt in the Beginner class, for handlers the individual pieces of equipment are put together into small courses and we start looking at handling skills - that means it is over you to as the handler! We keep it fun, we work at improving individual equipment skills and build from small exercises into a larger course. The handler builds more skills including independence, distance work, obstacle discrimination and proofing.
Advanced - those who want to compete with their dogs. Ideal for those who want more of a challenge, we work on individual equipment, advanced handling skills, course walking and problem solving.
