Do you have a new puppy, need some help and can't make classes? My 1 to 1 Puppy Training Programmes could be the answer. Sessions can take place on weekdays or weekends.

Our popular Puppy Training Programmes are ideal if you can’t make classes, but do want to go through the same exercises you might do in class. In your first session we start by looking at the immediate puppy rearing problems you might have such as toilet training, mouthing and sleeping. Then we add in some foundations which provide the skills to begin work on recall, lead walking, plus mental activity, confidence course (tunnels, wobble cushions, etc and lots of fun), waiting, settling and simple training to help you with common puppy problems.  You will also have plenty of opportunity to talk through any specific issues you have and I can help build a bespoke training programme for you and your puppy throughout the sessions.

Puppy Problem Solving x 1 session of up to 90 minutes - £80
If you would like to just chat through some problem solving with your new puppy this could be enough for you. This can be at our training venue in St Just, at your home, or via Zoom or similar.

Puppy Programme plus 3
This includes an initial 90 minute Puppy Problem Solving appointment where we can also start building in some foundations, followed by three further 1 hour appointments to work through your priorities, but to include foundation behaviours, starting on recall and lead walking, manners and confidence building.
Cost - £225

Puppy Programme plus 5
This includes an initial 90 minute Puppy Problem Solving appointment where we can also start building in some foundations, followed by five further 1 hour appointments to work through your priorities, but to include foundation behaviours, starting on recall and lead walking, manners and confidence building and progressing these behaviours in the real life environments that your puppy will live in.
Cost - £320

Puppy Programme plus 10
This includes an initial 90 minute Puppy Problem Solving appointment where we can also start building in some foundations, followed by ten further 1 hour appointments to work through your priorities, but to include foundation behaviours, starting on recall and lead walking, manners and confidence building and progressing these behaviours in the real life environments that your puppy will live in. This is a great programme where we can really delve deep in to your individual requirements with weekly or twice weekly sessions to help you reach your goals.
Cost - £555

Puppy Programme plus 20

This includes an initial 90 minute Puppy Problem Solving appointment where we can also start building in some foundations, followed by 20 further 1 hour appointments to work through your priorities, but to include foundation behaviours, starting on recall and lead walking, manners and confidence building and progressing these behaviours in the real life environments that your puppy will live in. This is the ultimate puppy training programme where by usually working at least two hours a week, over about 10 weeks we can build a great relationship, some fabulous training and deal with all the hiccups along the way.
Cost - £1020

Further support sessions are available in addition to your programme.

Clients are encouraged to take notes during the sessions. Either clients or I can film short sections of the training. Often we might film a summary of what we have worked on. Note that any filming must not be broadcast or shared without written consent. I also have access to lots of videos and resources that can be sent through to you via email after sessions as applicable.

Where do these sessions take place?
Sessions can be at our training centre in St Just, Last Chance Animal Sanctuary at Chacewater, online, or at your own location. If I am travelling to you, or to Chacewater as a specific journey for your training, travel costs will apply. Please ask for details.

How to book
If you would like to book, please first call Carolyn and we will book in your initial appointment and we can decide on the best Puppy Programme for you. Then you can pay by using the BOOK NOW button above. Sessions will be put in the diary at the time of booking and any extra travel costs added. Bespoke packages are available. If you would like to find out more, email [email protected] or call Carolyn on 07815 167247.

Why choose me?
An experienced trainer and behaviour counsellor can be invaluable in getting your unruly puppy back on track, your adolescent or adult dog to focus, or your rescue to relax. It is good to get help from someone qualified in behaviour with a vast amount of experience - I have worked with thousands of dogs over the years. It's not about quick fixes, but by utilising my extensive experience and getting it right we can get quick and effective results.  I offer practical and non-judgmental advice. I know how to put in emergency procedures, preventative measures, solve problems, and prevent problems from escalating. Most importantly, all training is kind to both you and your dog.
